Connecting your android box/Android tv) for the first time:

A. setup WIFI

Your box is useless without WIFi or LAN connection. For the best result your internet should offer at least 20 mb/s download. To play 4K material your internet should be offering 50 mb/s download or more.

Go to settings on your box and fill in your wifi. Or even better is to connect the box through a UPT cable (wired internet from router to box/Tv)

B. Set time and date/ Language

Go to the droid settings on your box and set time, date and language on your box. I can't tell u where to find it coz there are so many boxes with different setups. 

C. Setting up screen size (BOX Only)

Depending on the type of Tv, your box will not show full image.

Go to droid settings and choose display. 

Now choose screen positioning and zoom out until shown full image. For example LG is 92%, Samsung is 93%, Panasonic is 100%.

D. Set HDMI - CEC

On recent televisions u can use your television's remote control to command the box.

The box will now also turn on and off together with tv. 
Go to droid settings - HDMI CEC - and activate CEC. enable one key and disable auto language.

E. setup powerkey

Somewhere in the settings u'll find power key. Set this to desire. Shutdown turns the box completely off when u press power or when u shut down tv. Other option is standbye/Sleep. Box will fire up faster when TV lit but uses more electricity when not active

Tip: To prolong the life of your box: always shutdown or standbye your box.
